Mae is a cross between a snow leopard and a lynx, and she's brassy-yet-classy up on stage! Done at MFM for Nicolai - one of my first colored-pencil pieces in ages. I love how it turned out, my only regret is that I could not spend more time on it! :)

A young tigress ponders the lotus blossoms in her pool. Prints of this will be available at FWA and Megaplex. :) Also, I used my four new Copic markers on this. Man, I love them! They work really well... too bad I can only afford the four of them. ;P

Finished up the kitsune. She's really pretty. :) Did my best to color her with mostly marker, with only a little colored pencil detail. I'm getting there, slowly!! Prints of this are available, please e-mail me if you're interested. :)

An older image, done back in 2001! My, how my style has changed. One thing I really liked about this piece was the cross-hatching. The colors are pretty neat too. This was done the summer after I graduated high school, when all my friends and I were hooked on laser tag!

Butterfly Vixen by CrssaFox

I drew this a couple years ago, in 2004. I had seen some other butterfly "hybrids" (mostly animals with wings tacked onto the back) but I wanted to make this unique in giving the character's body the same markings you would find on the body of the monarch butterfly. Hence the gray/black with some white patches. :) I'm proud of this one!

Inspired by the corsairs and sea rats of Brian Jacques' "Redwall" series, a female sea rat poses on the deck of her ship, looking out over the waves. Original is matted and for sale, if anyone is interested. :)

My submission for the FWA convention book for the 2007 con. I was going to draw a snuggly fennec/rabbit couple, but wasn't very inspired. Instead, I combined both of FWA's mascots to create the best thing ever: A vixen in a bunny suit. ;)
